Cash Wise wants to help make your grocery shopping experience easier and more convenient.  We provide the convenience of online grocery shopping via a secure Internet ordering system with grocery delivery directly to your door.  The only thing we ask is that someone be available to accept the delivery of your grocery order.  Please read our policy statement to understand more about your online shopping experience.

Payment Options:
Cash Wise accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards.  Checks will also be accepted.  House Charge accounts are available for approved businesses only.  Businesses should contact our Cash Wise store to receive a credit application.

Cash, Coupons, Food Stamps, and WIC Vouchers will NOT be accepted online.

Our delivery personnel do NOT accept tips and gratuities.  Please do NOT offer tips.

A $25.00 service fee will be added to all dishonored checks. Checks are presented once for payment.

Cash Wise will prosecute any fraudulent orders to the fullest extent.

Order Fulfillment:
Our goal is to have all the products offered online available to you.  However, if an item is temporarily out of stock we can substitute it with another brand UNLESS you indicate on the checkout page that you do not want us to substitute. 

When picking out variable weight items such as bananas and steaks, the shopper will attempt to match the poundage requested.  However, the weight will probably vary slightly, therefore the shopper will choose a weight that most closely matches your submitted request.  This means you may receive a little more or a little less of the item you have requested.

The online sales total you receive at checkout is only an “estimated total.”  The “actual” price of your order will vary from the price on your checkout page due to the following:

  • Variable weight items like Produce, Meat and Deli where the actual price is determined by the actual weight of the product shopped.
  • Out of stock items
  • Substituted items
  • Weekly ad price changes.  The prices you are charged are based on the day your order is delivered, not when you submit your order.  Keep in mind our ad prices are effective Sunday through Saturday.  (Example:  If you send your order on Saturday for a Sunday delivery the prices will change due to a new ad week).

The “actual total” will be derived from our in-store Cash Register System on the day your order is delivered.  The actual cash register receipt will be provided to the customer at the time of delivery.  A signature is requested at the time of delivery for all credit card orders.  Customers paying by check will want to wait until their groceries are delivered to them to fill out the dollar amount of their check so they can guarantee accurate payment.  Delivery personnel will not carry cash to make change.  

Sales tax is NOT indicated on the web site but will be assessed on any taxable items that follow the North Dakota State Sales Tax Regulations Guidelines.

Cash Wise requires that someone be available for the delivery of your
groceries. If tobacco products are included with your grocery order
someone 18 years of age, with a valid ID will need to be present. Our
drivers will check identification of all customers receiving tobacco
products. If a qualified adult is not available, the driver will remove
those items from the order and the customer will not be responsible for the
cost of these products. These same guidelines will be followed for pick-up
orders as well.

Cash Wise delivery personnel will NOT carry money with them during the delivery process; therefore they cannot process any refunds/returns at the customer’s delivery residence.  Customers may contact the store with any issues regarding their online shopping orders – Fargo location (701) 237-4120 - Bismarck location (701) 223-8771 - Owatonna, MN location (507) 451-7220.

Cash Wise reserves the right to limit any and all quantities on any and all orders.

If an order is undeliverable due to a customer’s absence at the designated delivery site and no additional delivery information was submitted and there is no clear and safe place to leave the groceries, the deliverer will take the groceries back.  The delivery personnel at the scene will make this decision.  Once returned back to the store the product will be restocked and the credit card will be refunded the total order amount MINUS a 25% restocking fee and the delivery fee.  To avoid this predicament, please communicate any unexpected changes to us by phone or email.  If an unsuccessful delivery situation arises and the customer wishes to have the order delivered again, Cash Wise will work the order into the next available route and an additional delivery fee plus $5 will be added to the order.

If a pick up order is not picked up on the day selected for pick up, the product will be restocked and the credit card will be refunded the total order amount MINUS a 25% restocking fee AND any damaged product at full retail value. 

If you cancel an order that is placed for delivery more than 24 hours in advance, we will refund your entire order along with the delivery and shopping fee.  If you cancel an order within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time, we will refund your order amount and the delivery fee, but NOT the shopping fee.
